Lords Career Advancement Cell was established in 2005 for catering to the needs of Training and Placements. The college is having a track record of job offers to students from various multinational companies with average package of 4.8 LPA. Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology is recognized as host institution for business incubation by [[Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises]] ([[MSME]]) under its scheme for Startups. It also hosts Institute Innovation Council (IIC) under the Innovation Cell, implemented National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) and other initiatives of the [[Ministry of Education (India)]]. Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology aims to become a Research University with focus on Industry Collaborations, Centers-of-Excellence, Sponsored Projects, Patents, Books, quality publications in [[Science Citation Index|SCI]] / [[Scopus|SCOPUS]] indexed Journals and Conference Proceedings, student projects with research aptitude, etc. There are two research centers recognized by [[AICTE]] including the Centre for Research in [[Computational fluid dynamics|CFD]] and the Centre for Research in [[Internal combustion engine|IC Engines]] which received funding of Rs. 11.5 lakhs under MODROB scheme. Two-weeks Faculty Development Program on "Image Processing and Remote Sensing" was sanctioned Rs. 5.46 lakhs by [[All India Council for Technical Education|AICTE]] under AQIS scheme.
