It is located on the [[Burha River]], deep in the forest of the [[Latehar district]] the [[Chota Nagpur Plateau]]. The Lodh Falls is an example of a nick point caused by rejuvenation. Knick point, also called a nick point or simply nick, represents breaks in slopes in the longitudinal profile of a river caused by rejuvenation. ==Flora & Fauna==
Mahuadanr Wolf Sanctuary is very rich in biodiversity and various wildlife species have
been included in Red data book of the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature
and Natural resources) and the appendices of CITES (Convention on International Trade in
endangered Species of Flora and Fauna). Presently in India, the Wolf is recognized as an
endangered species and it is included in Appendix- I of CITES.
