<br />
The suicide bomber detonated the explosives in the crowded bus, before the bus reached the next stop, while the bus was in the suburban neighborhood of Kiryat Menachem.<ref>[http://www.israel.org/MFA/Terrorism-%20Obstacle%20to%20Peace/Memorial/2002/2/Ilan%20Perlman Ilan Perlman]</ref> 11 people were killed in the attack and over 50 were injured.<ref name=autogenerated1>{{Cite web |url=http://info.jpost.com/C002/Supplements/CasualtiesOfWar/2002_11_21.html |title=The JPost – Casualties of War |access-date=July 2, 2008 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120402143640/http://info.jpost.com/C002/Supplements/CasualtiesOfWar/2002_11_21.html |archive-date=April 2, 2012 |url-status=dead }}</ref><br />
