Aanand started his career with the 2009 Hindi television serial ''Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur''. His debut Hindi film was ''[[Gunday]]''. Apart from Hindi film he has done films in other languages such as ''Kable Aai Bahar'' (Bhojpuri), and ''Ami Shubhash Bolchi'' (Bengali).
