Kiran Abbavaram has publicly expressed that K-Ramp is encountering screen allocation challenges in [[Tamil Nadu]], highlighting a perceived disparity in distribution for Telugu films in that region.<ref>{{Cite news |date=2025-10-09 |title=Kiran Abbavaram on Telugu films in TN: Says, 'K Ramp' struggles for screens unlike Pradeep Ranganathan's 'Dude' in AP-TG |url=https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/telugu/movies/news/kiran-abbavaram-on-telugu-films-in-tn-says-k-ramp-struggles-for-screens-unlike-pradeep-ranganathans-dude-in-ap-tg/articleshow/124405099.cms |access-date=2025-10-14 |work=The Times of India |issn=0971-8257 |archive-date=2025-10-09 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20251009154413/https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/telugu/movies/news/kiran-abbavaram-on-telugu-films-in-tn-says-k-ramp-struggles-for-screens-unlike-pradeep-ranganathans-dude-in-ap-tg/articleshow/124405099.cms |url-status=live }}</ref> The director explained that the ‘K’ stands for Kumar, the protagonist, and ‘ramp’ represents his journey.

The film received an "A" certificate due to the childhood scenes of heroine where her family said they will suicide. The censor board suggested to remove the scene as the scene may not suitable for younger audiences but the makers refused and instead went with A certificate.
== Reception ==
