Reddy was born on 24 October 1958 in Kothaguda village, [[Thipparthy]] Mandal in the [[Nalgonda district]] in the Indian state of [[Andhra Pradesh]]. == Political career ==

He won the Miryalaguda Assembly constituency for three terms.
