== Reception ==
''BizHat'' described "It's interesting to watch the father – son combination together in Jore. Sibi Raj has matched up to his father's acting and gives a good account as an actor".<ref>{{Cite web |title=Jore |url=http://movies.bizhat.com/review_jore.php |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160304023344/http://movies.bizhat.com/review_jore.php |archive-date=4 March 2016 |access-date=2012-01-11 |website=BizHat}}</ref> Malathi Rangarajan of ''[[The Hindu]]'' wrote "Incidentally, makers shouldn't give titles that lend themselves to rhyme or pun. You are so tempted to call "Jore" a bore. The shallow storyline, loose screenplay and inept direction — all by Selva — are the bane of "Jore"".<ref>{{Cite web |last=Rangarajan |first=Malathi |date=18 June 2004 |title=Jore |url=http://www.hindu.com/fr/2004/06/18/stories/2004061801440300.htm |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20040630055115/http://www.hindu.com/fr/2004/06/18/stories/2004061801440300.htm |archive-date=30 June 2004 |access-date=4 February 2025 |website=[[The Hindu]]}}</ref>
