Rajamani was born in [[Thoothukudi]] (Tuticorin), a port city in [[Tamil Nadu]], [[India]]. He began his career as an electrical engineer in India, working on projects within Tamil Nadu, before moving to [[Mauritius]] to work as an engineering supervisor.&lt;br /&gt;
