It is the oldest, largest mosque in Nerul & one of the main mosques of Navi Mumbai. The leadership of the [[Tablighi Jamat]] was split in 2015 when [[Muhammad Saad Kandhlawi]] claimed to be the sole leader of [[Tablighi Jamat]].
