In 2011 directors [[Radhika Rao (director)|Radhika Rao]] and [[Vinay Sapru]] announced their intent to begin work on ''I Love New Year''. Originally planned for release in April 2013, it was delayed on numerous occasions. The film received generally negative reviews.
