'''Sir Henry Clark King''' (20 June 1857 — 23 July 1920) was an [[English people|English]] first-class [[cricket]]er and solicitor.

The son of The Reverend [[Charles King (English cricketer)|Charles King]], he was born at [[Durham, England|Durham]] in June 1857. He was educated at [[Marlborough College]], where he played for the cricket eleven.<ref name="OBIT">{{cite web|url=https://www.espncricinfo.com/wisdenalmanack/content/story/228167.html|title=Wisden - Obituaries in 1920|date=2 December 2005|publisher=ESPNcricinfo|accessdate=2021-10-09}}</ref> Upon leaving Marlborough he studied law at [[Leamington Spa|Leamington]], during which he was commissioned into the 10th Warwickshire Rifle Volunteer Corps as a [[sub-lieutenant]] in July 1877 and was promoted to [[Lieutenant (British Army and Royal Marines)|lieutenant]] in September 1879.<ref>{{cite book |title=Marlborough College Register|publisher=R.
