The '''Hatia–Rourkela line''' is an Indian railway line connecting {{stnlnk|Hatia}} on the [[Netaji S.C.Bose Gomoh–Hatia line]] in [[Jharkhand]] with [[Rourkela Junction railway station|Rourkela]] on the [[Tatanagar–Bilaspur section]] in [[Odisha]]. This {{convert|165|km||adj=on|abbr=}} track is under the jurisdiction of [[South Eastern Railway zone|South Eastern Railway]].

==History==
In 1907 {{stnlnk|Adra}} was connected to the [[Grand Chord]] at [[Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Gomoh railway station|Gomoh]] with a {{track gauge|1676 mm}} wide {{RailGauge|5ft6in|lk=on}} [[broad gauge]] line.<ref>R. P. Saxena, Indian Railway Time Table.</ref> The construction of the {{convert|143|km|mi}}-long broad-gauge Chandrapura–Muri–Ranchi–Hatia line was started in 1957 and was completed in 1961. The construction of this line included the conversion of the narrow-gauge Kotshila–Ranchi line to broad gauge. ==Electrification==
The electrification of Bondamunda Yard–Dumetra–Bangurkela link lines was done in 1998–99.
