&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Gurholi&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is a village in [[Purandar Taluka]], [[India]], with an economy based mainly on agriculture where fruits such as figs, custard apples, and pomegranates are produced. The village is surrounded by three mountains, and has temples among the mountains.&lt;br /&gt;

It is bordered by [[Walti]] and [[Alandi mhatobachi]] town on the north, [[Sonawari]] town on the west [[Vanpuri]] and [[Pargaon]] towns on the south, [[Waghapur]] and [[Singapur, Adilabad district|Singapur]] town on the west. It is situated at a distance of 160&amp;amp;nbsp;km from the Maharashtra State Capital of [[Mumbai]] by road. Gurholi is at a distance of 30&amp;amp;nbsp;km from District main City [[Pune]] and 70&amp;amp;nbsp;km from [[Baramati]]. Gurholi is at a distance of 18&amp;amp;nbsp;km from Taluka main city [[Saswad]] and 21&amp;amp;nbsp;km from [[Jejuri]] and 16&amp;amp;nbsp; from [[Uruli Kanchan]]. Gurholi is situated on Deccan plateau.&lt;br /&gt;

It has good connectivity with nearby cities like [[Saswad]], [[Uruli]] and [[Jejuri]]. It is the village which lies in the Middle region of the [[Pune district]] of [[Maharashtra]] state.&lt;br /&gt;

Gurholi is a medium size village located in Purandhar of Pune district, Maharashtra with total 426 families residing. The Gurholi village has population of 1941 of which 968 are males while 973 are females as per Population Census 2011.&lt;br /&gt;

Gurholi is famous for [[Common fig|figs]], [[Custard Apple]]s, and [[pomegranate]]s. Gurholi was famous for its fig production for a very long time.&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Wheat is important crop of the Village. However other crops like bajra, jawar, and other cereals are also grown in the village.&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Since last 15 years Custard Apple have acquired dominance on the agricultural economy of the village. Due to water shortage in Gurholi the farmers have shifted to pomegranate from fig and Paddy. Some progressive farmers are cultivating flowers in greenhouses and farms.&lt;br /&gt;

In Gurholi village out of total population, 1239 were engaged in work activities. 98.22% of workers describe their work as Main Work (Employment or Earning more than 6 Months) while 1.78% were involved in Marginal activity providing livelihood for less than 6 months. Of 1239 workers engaged in Main Work, 982 were cultivators (owner or co-owner) while 69 were agricultural labourers.&lt;br /&gt;
