In 1894, Dr. Ojha published his &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Bharatiya Prachin Lipimala&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (the first book devoted to the [[paleography|palæography]] of India), a revised edition was published in 1918. Dr. Ojha penned &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Solanki (clan)|Solankiyon]] ka Itihasa&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;History of the Solanki&amp;#039;&amp;#039;) in 1907 and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Sirohi]] Rajya ka Itihasa&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;History: Kingdom of Sirohi&amp;#039;&amp;#039;) in 1911. In 1926, Ojha published the first book of his History of [[Rajputana]] series.  Histories of the [[princely state]]s of [[Udaipur]], [[Jodhpur]], [[Bikaner]], [[Dungarpur]], [[Banswara]] released over a twelve-year period (1929–1941). Ojha also wrote a biography of [[James Tod]] titled &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Supraprasiddha itihaskara Karnala James Tod ka jivan charitra&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. A 1928 lecture series at the Hindustani Akademi, [[Allahabad]] was published as &amp;#039;&amp;#039; Madhyakalina Bharatiya Sanskriti&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;Cultural contours of India p43&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; and later translated into [[Urdu]].&lt;br /&gt;

In 1927, the All India Hindi Sahitya Sammelan conferred the honorary degree of &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mahamahopadhayaya&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (greatest of venerable teachers) on Ojha.
