It is about 13&nbsp;km from Karnal on [[National Highway 44 (India)|National Highway 44]] about {{convert|2|km|mi}} from [[Tarawadi]] bus stop. It is under Indri constituency of Haryana state assembly. Its demography is mainly composed of [[Chauhan]] [[Rajput]]s and most people are dependent on agriculture for their livelihood. The main crops are rice, tomato, onion and wheat. The village also hosts a Century Plyboards (I) Ltd factory.<br />
