Gang Chua is a {{Convert|6288|m|ft|abbr=off|adj=on}} summit in the [[Himalayas]]. The mountain is situated in the state of [[Himachal Pradesh]], {{convert|145|km|mi}} east-northeast of the capital city of [[Shimla]]. Precipitation runoff from this mountain&amp;#039;s slopes drains into tributaries of the [[Sutlej|Sutlej River]]. [[Topographic relief]] is significant as the south slope rises 2,300&amp;amp;nbsp;metres (7,546&amp;amp;nbsp;ft) above Tagla Khad (stream) in {{convert|4|km|mi|spell=in}}. The first ascent of Gang Chua was achieved on June 16, 1974, by Major F.J.
