== History and career ==
Formed by musicians hailing from Jaipur, [[Rajasthan]], Dream Note first started out as a [[cover band]], covering [[Hindi film music|Bollywood classics]] like "Chand Si Mehbooba" (1965) by [[Mukesh (singer)|Mukesh]] and "Humein Tumse Pyar" (1981) by [[Kishore Kumar]].<ref name=":0" /> The band released its first original single, a pop number, "Tere Janey Ke Baad" in 2017.<ref name=":0" /> This was followed by a number of soulful [[Indian pop|indi-pop]] tracks, namely, "Waqt Ki Baatein" (2018), "Na Kehna Tum" (2019), "Khidkiyan" (2020) and "Kaisi Ye Jagah Hai" (2020).
