After completing his study he was working as freelance artist as well as filmmaker and after that he joined fine arts faculty - South Gujarat University as visiting lecturer for 2 years. Abhijit Ashok Paul(Abhijit A. Paul / Abhijit Paul) got the INLAKS FINE ARTS AWARD 2006.
