== Life and career ==

Diwan S Rawat was born on January 1, 1970. He pursued his master's degree from [[Kumaun University]], Nainital, and Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the [[Central Drug Research Institute]], Lucknow. He is a professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Delhi. Previously, he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, [[National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research|National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research]] (NIPER), Mohali, Punjab, India.
