==Playing Style==
Brevis is an aggressive right handed middle order batter. He is known for his massive "no-look" sixes, in which he strikes the ball with immense power while instantly looking down or away at the ground after connection. He employs a balanced, open stance, along with a high backlift and a backfoot to front foot load transfer. His swing is characterized by a vertical shoulder rotation, and a high, rapid follow through to impart immense power from the bat to the ball. Some of his favorite shots to employ include hitting boundaries down the ground, pick up pulls over long on, and unorthodox ramps, scoops, and sweeps.<ref>{{cite web |last1=Wigmore |first1=Tim |title=Cricket’s new shot is the ‘no-look’ six |url=https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/cricket-shot-no-look-six-060000606.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAG8QD6OtCBvkK3N_rUy1gSr9KTJhirVzb-iFoaTy0xATwDk-G5xR_PJx_npcDqs3JwMRNtkcDy5K1QQsTKFs5g_keRXKLJ0CiEeHcoeUq9iUrcVqTrU9tU4_9lRMbOqEW0D85CkgIjFoYiyb1kuY9lDoy3BOZj-a96YnJ5LougiN |website=Yahoo Sports |access-date=29 August 2026}}</ref><ref>{{cite web |last1=Moonda |first1=Firdose |title='I'm here now' - Brevis makes a statement as the 'original Dewald' |url=https://www.cricinfo.com/story/dewald-brevis-makes-a-statement-with-125-vs-australia-im-here-now-1498919 |website=ESPN Cricinfo |access-date=29 August 2026}}</ref><ref>{{cite web |last1=Deivarayan |first1=Muthu |title=Brevis, Mhatre, Urvil help CSK sign off gloomy season on bright note |url=https://www.cricinfo.com/series/ipl-2025-1449924/gujarat-titans-vs-chennai-super-kings-67th-match-1473504/match-report |website=ESPN Cricinfo |access-date=29 August 2026}}</ref>
