==Reception==
The film had a fairly successful run and Vijayakumari as Kanmani excels, while S. S. Rajendran is equally brilliant with his dialogue delivery. Kumari Manimala, popular in Telugu cinema, is impressive too. Nagesh and Manorama provide comedy relief, while S. V.
