== Political career ==
For the first time in February 2002, Fasiha was elected as a member of the [[Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly]] from the [[Bahujan Samaj Party]], and for the second time in the general elections of 2007 on the [[Samajwadi Party]] ticket.
