Shrestha has written and directed numerous plays in the [[Nepali language|Nepali]] language, which include &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ani Bhaleymungro Runcha&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Salaam Relimai&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Aina Ma Herda Ramsailee&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. He is the group leader of the theater troupe &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Bhadrey ko Toli Natya Samuha.&amp;#039;&amp;#039; &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ani Bhaley Mungro Runcha&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is a social satire that was staged for 11 years in different parts of India. He has been the protagonist of &amp;#039;theater for a social change&amp;#039; and a follower of the &amp;#039;fourth theatre&amp;#039;. His fourth theatre play &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Aina Ma Herda Ramsailee&amp;#039;&amp;#039; was staged more than 500 times in different parts of India.&lt;br /&gt;

His main contributions include &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Sunchari Samachar&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (daily), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Aba Samvad Patra&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (daily), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Aadhar&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (monthly), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Himali Bela&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (weekly) and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Milekhutti&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (monthly magazine). He has authored many books including &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Darjeelingey Bhanu Jayantiko Naknik&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Narad Uvanch&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Hamro Love Story&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mujhe Rang De Tiranga Chola Mai&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Bharatma Gorkha Haruko Rashtriya Chihnari Sankat&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Gorkha&amp;#039;s Quest for Indian Identity&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Banmara&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, etc.&lt;br /&gt;
