It operates as train number 12441 from [[Bilaspur railway station|Bilaspur Junction]] to [[New Delhi railway station|New Delhi]] and as train number 12442 in the reverse direction serving the states of [[Chhattisgarh]], [[Maharashtra]], [[Madhya Pradesh]], [[Uttar Pradesh]] & [[Delhi]].

As is customary with most train services in India, Coach Composition may be amended at the discretion of [[Indian Railways]] depending on demand.

It reverses direction of travel at [[Nagpur railway station|Nagpur]]. In the year 2008-11, This train was extended up till Howrah Junction for providing [[Bhopal Junction railway station|Bhopal Junction]] - [[Howrah Junction railway station|Howrah Junction]] connection. That time the Train used to depart Howrah Junction at 21.35 P.M., [[Tatanagar Railway Station|Tatanagar]] at 01.05 A.M., [[Bilaspur railway station|Bilaspur Junction]] at 08.05 A.M., [[Nagpur railway station|Nagpur]] at 14.35 P.M. & reached [[New Delhi railway station|New Delhi]] on 3rd day morning at 05.20 A.M. On return the train used to depart [[New Delhi railway station|New Delhi]] at 20.35 P.M., [[Nagpur railway station|Nagpur]] at 10.49 A.M., [[Bilaspur railway station|Bilaspur Junction]] at 17.34 P.M. [[Tatanagar Railway Station|Tatanagar]] at 00.40 A.M. & reached Howrah Junction at 04.20 A.M. From 2012, the extended service was withdrawn.
