The university is functioning in its new campus at [[Chhend Colony]], [[Rourkela]], about 7 km from [[Rourkela railway station]], Odisha, India. Rourkela is well connected by road and railway with [[Bhubaneswar]], [[Sambalpur]], [[Kolkata]], [[Mumbai]] and other cities of India. The nearest airports are [[Rourkela Airport|Rourkela]] and [[Jharsuguda Airport|Jharsuguda]]. The easiest way to get there is by taking a train to Rourkela and then hiring a cab or an auto to BPUT office.
