A song from the film "[[Singappenney]]" was unofficially leaked through the internet on mid-July 2019; and following this, the song was officially released on 23 July 2019, as the film's first single.<ref>{{cite news|date=23 July 2019|title='Singa Penney' from Vijay's 'Bigil' released officially|language=en-IN|work=The Hindu|url=https://www.thehindu.com/entertainment/movies/singa-penney-from-vijays-bigil-released-online/article28688186.ece|access-date=1 August 2019}}</ref> The music video features Rahman and [[Shashaa Tirupati]], rendering the song while lyricist Vivek and Atlee also made an appearance. ==Release==
