As of 2009, The village has a total number of 657 houses and a population of 2457 of which 1284 are males while 1173 are females. According to the report [[published]] by [[Census India]] in 2011, out of the total population of the village 433 people are from [[Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes|Schedule Caste]] and 522 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.<ref name="census" />
