It is a part of the [[Amravati (Lok Sabha constituency)]] along with five other Vidhan Sabha assembly constituencies, viz. [[Amravati (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Amravati]], [[Teosa (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Teosa]], [[Daryapur (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Daryapur (SC)]], [[Melghat (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Melghat (ST)]] and [[Achalpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Achalpur]].
