== Death ==
Ashraf Asthanvi died on 15 November 2022 at his residence in Fakirbara, Patna. He was laid to rest at Dhabri Qabristan on 17 November 2022. His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Madrasa Muhammadia Asthawan and it was led by Maulana Atiqullah Qasmi.<ref>{{Cite web |last=Bharat |first=E. T.
