Akash Thosar's father does construction of houses and his mother is a housewife. He is from middle class family. He has two sister and one brother. His sisters were married before he acted in Sairat (2016). He attended school at Pune till 11th grade. He was a [[wrestling]] enthusiast and wanted to learn wrestling, for that he moved to [[Jeur]] village.
