After the [[2008 Mumbai attacks]], Sahni criticized the [[India]]n [[Government of India|government]]. Madhur Singh, writing in [[Time (magazine)|''Time'']], quoted Sahni "We have such an incoherent and incapable leadership, and across all [[political parties]].
