Upon completion of his education, Singh entered politics and campaigned for the [[Bharatiya Janata Party]] (BJP) during the [[2013 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election]] in the districts of [[Rajnandgaon district|Rajnandgaon]] and [[Kabirdham district|Kawardha]].
