Paul was a group -D staff in RG Kar Medical College Hospital. his sister is UD CLARK in RG Kar medical college hospital. during his college life he did theatre under the group named 'Tathagat natya company'. After completing his study he was working as freelance artist as well as filmmaker and after that he joined fine arts faculty - South Gujarat University as visiting lecturer for 2 years. Abhijit Ashok Paul(Abhijit A. Paul / Abhijit Paul) got the INLAKS FINE ARTS AWARD 2006.
