&#039;&#039;&#039;Chaupal&#039;&#039;&#039; is a beautiful town located in district [[Shimla]] of [[Himachal Pradesh.]] Local people of town is blessed with Lord Lankkarveer . It is a nagar panchayat consisted of its derivative town [[Nerwa]]. Many Gram Panchayats came under Tehsil Chaupal . It is located at the height of 2550 mt. altitude.  Surrounding villages are Bodhna and Jarait in South , Devat and Kumbda in left side , Thanadhar in right side. CHAUPAL IS ALSO VERY BEST FOR APPLE CULTIVATION. Asia&#039;s richest village  [[MADAOG]] is also a village of Tehsil Chaupal. There are many visiting places in chaupal including tracking forest of Churdhar valley , many apple belts of Pundar valley and Rajwada of Tharoch Riyasat. It is located 100&amp;amp;nbsp;km away from Rajdhaani Shimla.  Along Shimla route there is a beautiful station called RIUNI surrounded by Deodhaar trees and in front blessed by SHIRGUL MAHARAJ OF CHURDHAR. There are many temples located in Tehsil Chaupal , such as BIJAT MAHARAJ SARAIN , SHIRGUL MAHARAJ CHURDHAR, JAGA MATA NAO (SHAK),RAIROMOOL SHAPRA,DIUNDER MAA KAALI , MAHESHWAR MAHARAJ MASHRAH , KANERA MAHARAJ SHAK , NAG DEVTA PUNDAR , BAMTA AND BHABHAR. Deiya a small village is also a attracted site of its beauty. Nerwa , a sub-tehsil of Chaupal is located at front of River Shalwi , surrounded by Gram Panchayat Ruslah and Rinjat and Kedi. Chaupal is a [[Administrative subdivision|Sub Division]] (administrative division) of Shimla District. It is surrounded by hills and forests of [[Cedrus deodara|Deodars]]. It is also known for its densely covered areas of [[Cedrus deodara|Himalayan Cedar]] trees in the town.&lt;br /&gt;
This is one of the richest forest areas of Himachal. Devdar, kail, fir spruce and ban trees are in plenty in forests of Chaupal. Best quality Devdar trees in Asia are in Chaupal,{{fact|date=February 2020}} the timber extracted from these majestic trees is very durable, have high strength, resistant to pests to some extent due to the presence of the extractives like cedar oil, in the wood.
