The oldest place of worship in Muttar is the Kochukodungalloor Temple, located on the Northwest side of the village. Other Syro-Malabar Churches are St Thomas Church Kumaramchira and Immaculate Conception Church Mariyakari. There is one Mar Thoma Church as well.<br />
