With the multilingual film &#039;&#039;[[Vaazhkai (1949 film)|Vazhkai]]&#039;&#039;, &#039;&#039;[[Jeevitham (1950 film)|Jeevitham]]&#039;&#039; and &#039;&#039;[[Bahar (film)|Bahar]]&#039;&#039;, she was introduced into the world of cinema by [[A. V. Meiyappan]] and discovered by M. V. Raman.
