While attending college, Thakur landed a lead role as Gauri Bhosle opposite [[Mohit Sehgal]] in the [[StarPlus|Star Plus]] series ''[[Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaan]]''. The show aired from 2012 to 2013.
