'''Gadde Rajendra Prasad''' (born 19 July 1958) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in [[Telugu language|Telugu]] films. He is a recipient of four [[Andhra Pradesh]] state [[Nandi Awards]], three [[South Indian International Movie Awards|SIIMA Awards]], and three [[Santosham Film Awards]].

Prasad made his debut in 1977 with ''[[Sneham (1977 film)|Sneham]]'' and gained recognition with ''[[Manchu Pallaki]]'' (1982). ==Early life==
Prasad was born into a middle-class family to Gadde Venkata Narayana and Manikyamba from [[Nimmakuru]], [[Krishna District]], Andhra Pradesh.<ref name="n18" /><ref name="eenadu">Eenadu Telugu newspaper daily, July 19, 2016</ref> His father was a teacher. Prasad completed his graduation with a diploma in Ceramic Engineering before entering the film industry. He joined a company, but had to resign from the job because he was too young. After witnessing the shooting of the film ''[[Tatamma Kala]]'', he aspired to join the industry, and upon the suggestion of [[N. T. Rama Rao|N.T.R]] and [[N. Trivikrama Rao]] he joined an acting school.

Prasad is married to Vijaya Chamundeswari. ==Career==
Prasad made his debut as an actor on the silver screen with the film ''Sneham'' (1977), directed by [[Bapu (director)|Bapu]]. Initially he worked as a dubbing artist and played many supporting roles. He played a supporting role in the film ''[[Ramarajyamlo Bheemaraju]]'', starring [[Krishna Ghattamaneni|Krishna]], which fetched him a chance in 14 films.

He was identified by director [[Vamsy]] to play a lead role in his film, ''[[Preminchu Pelladu]]''. He rose to fame with [[Vamsy]]'s ''[[Ladies Tailor (1985 film)|Ladies Tailor]]''. He continued to act in supporting roles while also playing lead roles. In a career of over 35 years, he acted in more than 200 [[Telugu films]] and few [[Tamil films]]. His collaboration with director [[Jandhyala]] in ''[[Aha Naa Pellanta (1987 film)|Aha Naa Pellanta]]'' established him as a overnight star. He also made successful collaboration with directors [[Vamsy]], [[E. V. V. Satyanarayana]], [[S. V. Krishna Reddy]] and [[Relangi Narasimha Rao]]. Notably, Relangi made 32 films (out of 70 as director) with Prasad. Imtiaz divorces his wife in anger but soon realizes his mistake and wants her back. However as per the Nikah Halala law, he can only get her back by marrying her to someone else who must consummate the marriage. So he arranges her marriage to someone else. But the day after the Nikah (Marriage) when Imtiaz goes to get his wife back, her new husband is not ready to divorce her as he wants to reap the benefits of this marriage. He fools Imtiaz by claiming that he hasn't consummated the marriage yet, and therefore Imtiaz cannot take his wife back. The film won 10 international awards and was well received by some by the Muslim community, especially women.<ref name="Hindustan Times"/>

The film evoked an angry response from Islamic clerics like Maulana Arshad Farooqui, the chairman of Fatwa Online of [[Darul Uloom Deoband|Deoband]], criticized Nawazuddin and said he didn't know [[Sharia|Shariyat]]. Galla Jayadev was born in [[Diguvamagham]], [[Andhra Pradesh]] to [[Galla Ramachandra Naidu|Ramachandra Naidu]] and [[Galla Aruna Kumari|Aruna Kumari]]. His father is an industrialist who founded the Amara Raja Group. His mother Aruna Kumari is a former [[Member of the Legislative Assembly (India)|MLA]] from [[Chandragiri]] constituency and was a minister in the Andhra Pradesh state government for several years. His grandfather [[Paturi Rajagopala Naidu]] was a freedom fighter, close associate of [[N. G. Ranga|Acharya N G Ranga]] and a former Indian parliamentarian.

After his graduation, Jay worked as an international sales executive at GNB Battery Technologies in USA. He spoke in [[Lok Sabha|Loksabha]] on 7 February 2018, regarding the Budget allocations to [[Andhra Pradesh]] in Union Budget 2018. Also he made comment that [[Bahubali (2016 film)|Bahubali]] Movie collections are more than the funds allocated to Andhra Pradesh. Accusing the NDA government of not doing anything to fulfill the promises made at the time of bifurcation of the state, Mr Galla wanted to know what the government did in the last four years.

Jayadev displayed the much needed political aggression in his 16-minute speech in Lok Sabha on the raw deal meted out for Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget. Pointing out the enormous delay and apathy displayed by the Centre in fulfilling its obligations under AP Bifurcation Act, Jayadev demanded Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Prime Minister Narendra Modi an explanation to the people of AP. Galla powerfully articulated the deep sense of betrayal felt by the people of the state at the inexplicable cold attitude of the Centre. He cautioned the Centre against the prolonged neglect of the State and its requirements at its own peril. Excerpts from his emotional speech that won great appreciation for him from all the quarters: Sir, I do understand about trust an essential requirement for any partnership to continue. I also think that I can safely say that India has not seen her last days of coalition governments. What message do you want to send to your allies and potential allies mr. Prime Minister. Your allies are feeling neglected, betrayed and humiliated as are the five core people of Andhra Pradesh. We demand an explanation. During his school days, Sumeet aspired to become a pilot or a computer engineer. But, he had a passion for acting and writing also. Later, choosing the second option, he gave up his college studies and started working as an assistant editor in an editing studio in Mumbai.

==Plot==
Vikram ([[Naveen Chandra]]) is a young project manager at an architecture firm in Chennai. Though he leads an honest life, he maintains that it is not wrong to do something illegal for money as long as you don't get caught. One day, he goes to his firm's biggest client, Chandrasekar ([[Aadukalam Naren]]) to present an ambitious theme park project plan that he had been preparing for months. It is then when Vikram and his colleague see Chandrasekar's rebellious daughter enter the office to demand for money, embarrassing him in front of everyone. Having lost his mood, Chandrasekar coldly rejects Vikram's plan. Vikram gets drunk and then goes to Chandrasekar's beach house to vandalize it. Instead, he sees Chandrasekar's daughter running away. Vikram follows her to a nearby hotel and confronts her about her father's behaviour. She introduces herself as Shruti ([[Salony Luthra]]) and reveals that she dislikes her father just as much as Vikram does because he is a materialistic corporate man. Shruti follows Vikram home, where she proposes that he pretend to abduct her in order to extort ransom money from Chandrasekar. Vikram initially refuses. However, he learns from his superior at work the next day that Chandrasekar had a change of heart and has approved his theme park plan in condition that the firm has a more experienced project manager head the project. Vikram becomes ever more furious when his archenemy at the firm is chosen to lead the project and finally agrees to Shruti's plan. Together, Vikram and Shruti easily extort all the black money that Chandrasekar has been hiding away from the income tax department. He then sends Shruti back home safely while promising to keep her share of the money for her while she prepares her passport and visa to run away to Australia.

The next day, Vikram learns from the news that a young girl's dead body resembling Chandrasekar's daughter has been found washed up at the beach. As Vikram panics, Chandrasekar and Shruti walk into his apartment. Chandrasekar then reveals that the rebellious daughter Vikram saw the other day at his office was actually Shruti's twin, Sanjana (Salony Luthra). Shruti accidentally killed Sanjana while trying to stop the latter from taking her drugs. That was when she ran away from home and ended up with Vikram. Her father then calls her up and forces her to help him frame Vikram instead. This was why Chandrasekar approved Vikram's plan out of the blue and then had another project manager hired to further provoke him to have revenge. Chandrasekar then takes back his ransom money in return for not having Vikram arrested by the police for Sanjana's so-called kidnapping and murder.

Furious that he has been played, Vikram decides to really kidnap Shruti for the money. He sees her leaving her father's beach house and takes her away forcefully. He has Chandrasekar bring his money to a warehouse in exchange for Shruti. At the warehouse, Chandrasekar brings a gang along for protection and Vikram has to fight them off. However, it is revealed that Shruti is actually Sanjana all along, and it was Shruti who was killed during their struggle. Knowing that their father would not support her, she pretended to be Shruti all along and had the real Shruti's body look like her instead. Seeing that her father never loved her and was instead happy she had died, she kills him in cold blood and splits the ransom money with Vikram. Sanjana then continues pretending to be Shruti and explains to the police that it was her own father who kidnapped and killed his drug addict daughter with the help of the gang to save his reputation. The gang then goes into hiding for a crime they did not commit. Meanwhile, Sanjana takes over Chandrasekar's company and hires Vikram as the project leader.
