Government Medical College, Anantnag undertakes education and training of MBBS courses. This college has been offering 100 MBBS seats since 2019 of which 100% Seats are of state quota. Paramedical courses are also offered. GMC Anantnag has got permission to start DNB courses. Three seats in dermatology, two in pharmacology, two in community medicine, two in general surgery have been recently granted to the medical college. <br />
