It is a part of the [[Raver (Lok Sabha constituency)|Raver Lok Sabha constituency]] in the adjoining [[Jalgaon district]] along with five other assembly constituencies, viz [[Chopda (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Chopda]], [[Raver (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Raver]], [[Bhusawal (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Bhusawal]], [[Jamner (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Jamner]] and [[Muktainagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency)|Muktainagar]].
