Their two ancestors were named Bariyaar shah and Chahu Shah, both were son of Raja Chattarsen kshatrapati the 7th descendants of king Trilokchandra.&lt;br /&gt;

There is another simmilar clan known as [[Tomar clan|Berwar]], they are resident of [[Ballia]] and [[Azamgarh]] ,but Berwar is a sub branch of [[Tomar clan]] of [[Delhi]], they came to their current location from Delhi under the leadership of a Tomar prince Gadak deva.&lt;br /&gt;
