Roshan Basheer is an actor who hails from a family in [[District|Kozhikode, Kerala]] and his father is an extra artist who has appeared in Malayalam films. Roshan did his schooling at K E T public school, [[Kuttiady]] and National High School, Payyoli. Then done his higher studies from Ansar Junior College, Memunda. After he also completed his graduation in Computer Science at [[School of Technology and Applied Sciences]], [[Edappally]].<br />

Roshan made his acting debut by playing one of the lead roles in the Malayalam coming-of-age film, ''[[Plus Two (film)|Plus Two]]'' (2010). The relative commercial failure of the film saw Roshan play supporting roles in the coming years, including appearances in ''[[Banking Hours 10 to 4|Banking Hours]]'' (2012), ''[[Tourist Home (film)|Tourist Home]]'' (2013) and ''[[Red Wine (2013 film)|Red Wine]]'' (2013).
