Shefali graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information technology from [[Sardar Patel Institute of Technology]] in 2005. During her engineering studies, she got the opportunity to work in a music album and since then opted for this industry rather than the IT field. She did her schooling from [[Jamnabai Narsee School]], Mumbai, India.

Shefali Jariwala was married to musician Harmeet Singh from [[Meet Bros|Meet Brothers]] in 2004. Shefali became famous for appearing in a song in the 2002 video album ''[[Kaanta Laga]]''. Due to the popularity of the song, she became known as ''The Thong Girl''. After ''Kaanta Laga'' she appeared few other music albums.
