==Establishment==

Fifty percent of the stakes are held by MHRD, whereas thirty-five percent is held by the [[Government of Maharashtra]]; the rest is held by industry partner [[Tata Consultancy Services]].

==Courses==
IIITN offers two B.Tech courses in [[Computer Science and Engineering]] and [[Electronics and Communication Engineering]] with capacity of 210 and 140 seats respectively. The first ever batch capacity was of 40 students only.<ref name="toi-jun16"/> It plans to start [[Master of Technology]] (M.Tech) and [[Doctor of Philosophy]] (PhD) courses from academic session of 2018–19. However, there is no update related to that till now.<ref name="toi-jun16"/> The tuition fees has been fixed at{{INRConvert|90|k}} per year for the 2016–20 and 2017-21 batch. The tuition fees for newer batches has been increased to ₹180k/-.<ref name="toi-feb16"/>

A temporary campus for IIITN has been setup at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's Regional Telecom Training Centre. Its distance from all respective public transport facilities respectively is as follows:

*Nagpur Airport (DBAIAP): 12.5 km
*Nagpur Central Bus Stand: 7.2 km
