UPSIDC was incorporated as a company limited by shares on 29 March 1961. (UPRRNL) and Avash Vikas Parishad (Housing Development Corporation).

Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation is a Public Sector Undertaking of the [[Government of Uttar Pradesh]].
