'''Solapur Railway Division''' is one of the divisions of [[Central Railway Zone (India)]] of [[Indian Railways]].It is the largest division in Central Railway covering 10 districts of [[Maharashtra]], [[Karnataka]] & [[Telangana]].
As Solapur Railway Station is one of the most important Railway Station to the Central and Southern Part of India, it has its own Identity. So, as Gram daivat of Solapur City is Shri Siddheshwar Hence, Solapur Railway Station Name must be changed to Shri Siddheshwar Railway Solapur. I found many Railway Station has done so. Few Days Back Hubli Railway Station Name was also changed from Hubli JN to Shri Siddharud Railway Station. Hence, which is a part of Faith and Belief Solapur Railway Station also has its own capability to change itself into Holy Name.
My main motive was to say is that, Solapur Railways and City must Enhance itself and make its culture, heritage and sanskruti spread over other region and establish its dinesty. Also Solapur Railway Station is Beautified and Modernized. So, I request Solapur DRM to look into this needful.
