The '''East Zone cricket team''' is a [[first class cricket|first-class]] [[cricket]] team that represents eastern [[India]] in the [[Duleep Trophy]] and [[Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy|Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Inter Zonal]]. It is a composite team of five first-class Indian teams from eastern India competing in the [[Ranji Trophy]]: [[Assam cricket team|Assam]], [[Bengal cricket team|Bengal (West Bengal)]], [[Jharkhand cricket team|Jharkhand]], [[Orissa cricket team|Orissa]] and [[Tripura cricket team|Tripura]].

East Zone has won the Duleep Trophy twice in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons, as well as the Deodhar Trophy four times in the 1992/93, 1993/94, 1996/97 and 2003/04 seasons.
