The [[air quality]] in [[Delhi]], the capital territory of India, according to a [[World Health Organization|WHO]] survey of 1,650 world cities, is the worst of any major city in the world. Delhi&#039;s pollution problem is also caused by the factor of animal agriculture, as smog and other harmful particles are produced by farmers [[stubble burning|burning their crops]] in other states since 2002. In 2010, the year of the WHO survey, the average PM&amp;lt;sub&amp;gt;10&amp;lt;/sub&amp;gt; level in Delhi was 286 μg/m&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;3&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt;. In 2013, the PM&amp;lt;sub&amp;gt;2.5&amp;lt;/sub&amp;gt; level was 153&amp;amp;nbsp;μg/m&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;3&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt;. These levels are considered very unhealthy.  In Gwalior, the city with the worst air quality in India, the PM&amp;lt;sub&amp;gt;10&amp;lt;/sub&amp;gt; and PM&amp;lt;sub&amp;gt;2.5&amp;lt;/sub&amp;gt; levels were 329 μg/m&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;3&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; and 144&amp;amp;nbsp;μg/m&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;3&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; respectively. For comparison, the PM&amp;lt;sub&amp;gt;10&amp;lt;/sub&amp;gt; and PM&amp;lt;sub&amp;gt;2.5&amp;lt;/sub&amp;gt; levels in London were 22&amp;amp;nbsp;μg/m&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;3&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; and 16&amp;amp;nbsp;μg/m&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;3&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; respectively.
