In 2019, a newer version of NDP has been launched by some Nair leaders called "Democratic Social Justice Party". The chief patron of the party is Manjery Bhaskara Pillai, who heads over 100 Malabar Nair Samajam units in north Kerala and also the patron of Global NSS Kerala. K S R Menon is the President, Babu Surendrakumar Nair is the General Secretary and S.
