A golden land Manipur
Thy name Manipur
A pearl from the depth of water
A blossom in the wild
Tiny but sparkling thou art

Risen from depth of a mass of water
Fortified by mountains
Adorned in lush green apparel
Alone thou art in grace solemn

The periphery that of a Yangkok
Thy appearance a winning face
Incident of the first rays of the sun,
A mother so caring of her children
Done up in a smile eternal

A land of golden waves
A land dotted with silvery orbs,
Under the root of blue sky
Like a jewel thou shine.
